Energy Assessments are now a legal EU requirement on all Scottish properties for sale and all domestic  properties available to let.

From the 1st of December 2008 all Domestic (residential)  properties for sale in Scotland now require a valid Energy Performance Certificate (EPC). From the 4th of January 2009 all Domestic  properties for let also now require a valid Energy Performance Certificate.
